Morgane Alexandre and Ekaterina Tambieva

The ladies joined us after a lengthy stint at TBWA. We had a quick squint at
their online portfolio and were more than happy for them to spend some
time with our gang.

Here's one of the ideas from their book. Though why a carrot would want to
seem an inch or two longer I can't quite fathom...

Whilst with us, they worked on a broad range of projects, from TNCC to
Mercedes-Benz and DHL. We rather liked this little thought, that uses the
products being shipped to tell the story of their journey.

Mark Turner and Emily Watson

Mark and Emily came to see us us after being recommended by colleagues at
another agency.

One of the ideas in their book involved turning innocent smoothies wicked.
You can see the rest of their portfolio online here.

One of their ideas involved a tie-up with Leicester's finest, and getting them
to perform a motorised gig from separate cars, as a convoy of fans and special
guests weaves in and out.

Rob James and Rich Fuller

These two fine gentlemen got in touch after Rich's girlfriend had enjoyed
her placement here.

They were put to work on two or three projects and one little idea we really
like was to dramatise the fuel efficiency of a smart car with a little viral film.
As a smart can do over 600 miles on one tank, the guys suggested building
a Scalextric track that would be a scale representation of that distance.
Scalextric cars are mostly 1:32 scale, so the track would be, uh, divide by 32,
carry the one, er, pretty bloody enormous. So a little viral film of it being set up,
let alone raced would be well worth a watch.

Becky Wass

Becky joined us having studied an MA in creative advertising at Falmouth.
MA you say? Ooooohhhh!

Becky is a rarity in that she takes quite a copy-based approach to communication
problems.

She wrote us this rather marvellous little script that outilines the benefits of a
smart car only having two seats - from the point of view of a childless couple.

Elly Fenlon

Elly is a first year student who joined us for some work experience. Whilst
she's at an early stage in her journey as a creative, she does have a remarkable
knack for re-framing a problem. We need to be careful she doesn't defect
to the planning department...

Elly wrote this as a one-off press ad to celebrate ten years of the smart car.
But in it are half a dozen ideas that would make a great campaign as individual
executions. Bonus.

Carina Maggar and Sarah Hardcastle

Carina and Sarah joined us during their summer break from college. They worked
across a wide range of briefs and came up with some pretty interesting stuff.

This first one is for a video game featuring stealthy soldiers. People walk past a video
billboard and see themselves - but with shadowy figures trailing them...

They also had a look at a brief involving a next day delivery service to the USA.
We loved this little idea for making New York seem closer by literally visualising
it as just across the pond. This could be a lovely, playful little microsite and simple
core idea for other communications.

Kristina Zuro and Emma Townley

The ladies came in a while back to show us their portfolio and we rather
liked the cut of their respective jibs, so we offered them a placement.

They had some rather splendid ambient work, including this idea for Radox.

Whilst here, we put their ambient expertise to good use on some ideas for
a Mercedes-Benz dealership. And they also offered us this rather tasty line
for the new CL CLass.

Not to mention an equally tasty leaving prezzie.
