Maria Winslet and Hannah Dal Pozzo

These ladies joined us separately, but struck up a good working relationship while they were here. Hannah's background is in writing for magazines and Maria came from advertising college via placements in esteemed shops such as Agency Republic.

We thought this was a great idea for TNCC sweets - The Jelly Kyle show. The sweeties would appear, seeking advice as to which combinations of taste best suit them (and is lime secretly hooking up with cinnamon behind strawberry's back?). Better still, you could join in as a caller to the show via Skype. Tasty.

Joshua Prynn-Petit and Penelope Gough

These two joined us as part of their second year of studies at Bucks. It was their very first placement. And not only did we break their duck, we shattered their preconceptions of what an agency actually is. For which they were good enough to buy us a couple of bottles of wine, which always gets brownie points.

They created this idea for smart test drives - you can draw lines for the car to follow and create your own route. Nice.

Alex Dunning and Pete Giblin

These two fine fellas joined us from Bucks College, where they are in their third year. They got stuck right in to briefs on TNCC, Mercedes-Benz and a pitch for MIND. Not to mention bolstering up a couple of teams for the agency's quiz night.

We were much indebted for the work they put in to help us get our presentation ready for MIND.

And were rather taken by this app that turns the city streets into a golf course. These boys are worth keeping an eye on.

Sophie Yeoman and Keighley Allen

Sophie and Keighley came to us after placements at Profero and Rapp.

They were a massive help on our recent videogame pitch...

And they came up with this awesome idea for a banner that challenges you to a staring competition...

Highly recommended if you want to give 'em a shout.

Adrian Kemsley and John Bacon

Keen to master the ways of digitally integrated thinking, the creative minds behind the Rutger Hauer Guinness ads and "You Only Get an Ooh with Typhoo" have gone back to the shopfloor here at Weapon7.

Their first task was to bring to life an online shoot-em-up. Their bold core thought and rather clever Facebook stalking game was impressive stuff. Of course, while we're watching them, they're watching us...

William Bernhardt and Matthew Mifsud

Matt and Will came in for a crit and showed us a really good mix of integrated campaigns, online, offline etc. So we gave 'em a couple of weeks to meet the rest of our gang. Go check their stuff.

One of their ideas which we loved (though caused much debate internally) was
The Natural Confectionery History Museum. A simple way of showcasing all the
tasty sweets, creating tasty interactive exhibitions - and even promoting them
with a giant jelly dinosaur on motorways.

Alison Lovett

Ali joined us just to see how her editorial writing skillset would fare in a
different industry.

The answer is pretty bloody well. As part of a broad range of work on all sorts
of briefs, Ali came up with this idea for Mercedes-Benz World. An exhibition
that isn't there. Or rather, only appears in virtual reality, showing you the very
latest concept cars that can be constantly updated. Is nice!
